A good sign to start a great day… is a salon full of laughter. When we arrived at the amazing salon “TEAZD” in Farmington, CT and the doors opened, all we heard was the laughter of friends. Kara was putting on the finishing touches of her makeup… and she was beautiful. Her lively bridesmaids were sitting behind her filled with smiles and laughs, setting the mood for the rest of the incredible day.
We were thrilled to find out that Kara’s Mom, Anna… hand-made Kara’s dream dress. There were such details as lace Anna picked when Kara was just a child; Anna just waiting to add it to her dress design. The Father of the Bride, patiently watched all the giggles and teary eyes, quietly from the back, taking in the special day.
Soon it was “show time.” Darrel; the lucky Groom, was patiently waiting at the Church of St. Ann in Avon for his future Bride. Darrel and his GQ groomsmen seated guests and calmed nerves while the guests anticipated the big Moment.
After some heart felt vows and an exchange of rings…the newly married couple grabbed a ride..in their super stretched HUMMER limo!
Next up… Hartford City Hall, and it was time for some rockin’ “not-so-formal” photos. And boy did they rock the shoots! Arriving at the Hartford City Hall, Darrel and Kara stopped traffic , LITERALLY, and the results of this beautiful and talented group was clear in the pictures. Always a fun group, (GO BAMA!), we whisked the couple away to an unexpected location for some extra hot shots. Let’s just say it wasn’t child’s play in the skate park with these two…rocking out the graffiti vibe, and the end result was incredible.
The Society Room of Hartford was lit from floor to ceiling by the amazing crew of AMS (Audio Media Solutions). Purple and gold make it HOT! We were thrilled to have shared this amazing day from beginning to end. The personal touches were heartfelt and the Photographs were stunning because of the trust both Darrel and Kara put in us to capture their fun and thrill seeking spirits. Congratulations Kara and Darrel, Many more happy years are ahead of you!
