When it’s cold outside, I love reflecting on summer weddings, the warmth the sunshine and the happiness and beauty that entertain the day. Tracy and Steve we married on a beautiful warm day, at one of our favorite wedding reception locations… The Barns at Wesleyan Hills. Tracy and her bridesmaids were a fun group, getting ready at the charming Inn at Middletown. The happy couple kept with tradition, not seeing each other before the ceremony, yet we were able to sneak them real close…with the hotel doorway blocking each others view. They held hands, and read from love notes to each other. Ceremony time was approaching, and as I peaked into the limo, we captured a little sharing of a flask between father and daughter (too cute!) The ceremony was about to begin. The Barns at Wesleyan offered a perfect backdrop to the ceremony, with sweeping views of water and willows, the couple tied the knot to applause…and a few tears by Tracy’s father. Trish and I had a fantastic time capturing the warm summer day, so enjoy!
